Duke In Early On 2010 MLB Prospect

Arundel Senior High School is known for producing productive wide receivers from their dynamic offense and this year they also have a solid defensive prospect as well in linebacker Bobby Partilla. Recruiting is just starting to ramp up for Partilla, so not many schools have been in heavy contact, but he talked to Scout.com about what he's looking for.

Bobby Partilla, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound middle linebacker from Arundel Senior High School in Gambrills, Md., had a very productive junior year and is hoping his performance at camps this summer will help him to get more looks in his college recruiting.

"The four main schools I've been hearing from are Syracuse, Cincinnati, Duke and Northwestern," Partilla stated. "I'm definitely going to try and do some camps this summer, but I don't have anything set in stone yet."

"At this point I'm really just trying to start and learn about the process that I have ahead of me. I'd prefer to play on the east coast if I can, but truth be told, distance isn't a huge factor for me. I also like bigger schools, but again, I'm very flexible going into the process. I guess you could just say I'm pretty open to anything that comes my way at this point."

As a junior, Partilla registered 113 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and an interception.
