Brennan is One to Watch in 2010

Camden Catholic High School head coach Rick Brown has worked with some excellent players over his coaching career, however one name that Scout.com has been hearing about for a few years now is his current signal caller Joe Brennan. Brennan has already received his first offer and should end up with many more over the next several months.

Joe Brennan, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound quarterback from Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, N.J., waited patiently behind Marc Lucarini and burst onto the scene as a junior, throwing for 25 touchdowns. He has already nailed down his first written offer from Rutgers and will be on the hunt for more.

"Rutgers was the first school to offer me and it felt great to get that first offer out of the way," Brennan explained. "That just showed that my dream is on its way to coming true. I went up to a Rutgers for a game this year and I really like their pro style offense and the way the run things on the offensive side of the ball. They have a very good program and I like the fact that they have a bunch of players from New Jersey on their roster."

"I have also been hearing from a number of schools including Connecticut, Duke, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Stanford, UCLA, Virginia and Temple," Brennan said. "Right now I don't have any favorites at all and am just looking to learn more about what these schools have to offer. I'm confident that God will point me in the right direction at the end."

As a junior, Brennan completed 147 of 255 passes for 2438 yards, 25 touchdowns and 14 touchdowns. He also carried the ball 33 times for 301 yards and a score.
