Clark has very quick feet and is a smart, instinctive runner. He is a patient back that stays behind his blockers and then has a very shifty style in the open field, showing many ways to make defenders miss him. He also catches the ball extremely well. His low center of gravity allows him to bounce off defenders and while he doesn't fully run behind his pads he does pack a punch for a smaller back. He also shows good balance.
