Wall Heads To Texas For Official Visit

With his high school season and career in the rearview mirror, Raleigh point guard prospect John Wall is back to focusing on recruiting. This weekend the talented floor general is on his way to Baylor for an official visit.

"I'm going to visit Baylor this weekend," Wall told Scout.com before departing for Texas. The 6-foot-4 Wall has been to Kansas and Memphis. North Carolina State, Miami and Duke are under consideration.

Baylor was the lone program to watch Wall last week during the state playoffs and has been famously pointed out hired Wall's former AAU coach as an assistant.

As for Duke, the Blue Devils continue to recruit the ultra talented player, but have yet to find a commonly agreeable time for Wall to visit campus and sit down with head coach Mike Krzyzewski. The lack of such a meeting appears to be the final barrier in the way of the Blue Devil program extending an offer.
