The first quote refers to the media attention surrounding his recruiting process - something that Wall has learned to take in stride and is enjoying. The second makes reference to the very public courtship of current Memphis head coach John Calapari by the University of Kentucky. Something that neither side apparently considered over the course of the recruiting process.
"I never thought that he wouldn't be at Memphis. If he leaves it's something i have to think about and it would really help some of my [other schools]. I don't have a problem with him leaving, he's got to do what's best for him and his family. Just like I need to with my decision."
Hoping to have his college destination behind him in the next few weeks, Wall says he's looking forward to some down time before preparing to make his mark on college basketball. Especially considering he's seen so much happen in such a short time.
"I kind of knew where things stood about a week ago and then I visited Duke, got to meet Coach K and was able to get to know him. Then this stuff with Coach Cal started happening. I've got another visit as well. It's just a lot going on. But it's a lot of fun. I'm happy that I get a chance to have these options."
And if Wall had to decide today?
"I don't know really. It's a hard question. I don't really have an answer yet. I'm still gathering information on each school. So much is going on."
