Maryland CB has Duke Offer

Scout.com talked with 2010 Mount St. Joseph High School (Baltimore, MD) prospect Kyle Fuller. The talented cornerback already has five offers and is receiving attention from others as well.

Kyle Fuller has grown up watching big brother Vincent (Virginia Tech, Tennessee Titans) go through his recruiting process and on to Virginia Tech and then the NFL. "I learn a lot from him," said the younger Fuller. "He gives me advice on how to handle the process and that taking my time is key. It is great to have his input."

Although having a big brother that has been through the process is an advantage, Fuller is certainly on his own path and making quite a name for himself. He currently holds five offers from Virginia Tech, Maryland, Kansas, Duke and Syracuse. "I am fortunate to have the offers I do and a plan to learn more about each one. I am going to Syracuse on June 7th and Kansas on June 13th. I want to get to each school but don't have my schedule set yet. I want to get to Virginia Tech, Maryland and Syracuse this summer as well." Fuller has been hearing from other schools as well. "West Virginia, Rutgers and Boston College have been contacting me the most. I will try to get to their campuses too this summer."

Fuller does have more exposure to Virginia Tech because of his brother's time there but he is interested in finding the best fit for himself. "I really like the coaches and the campus at Virginia Tech but I want to see some other places before I decide," said Fuller. "I have been to Maryland and I like the program and campus there too. It is very close to home and that is a plus as well. Once I get to visit some other schools I will be able to compare and get a feel for which will be best for me."

Fuller reports a 2.5 GPA and is taking the SAT this Saturday.
