Top Commit Planning Other Visits?

Aramide Olaniyan committed to Duke months ago, however just because he's made a verbal commitment, that doesn't mean he's going to completely shut down his recruiting. We spoke to Olaniyan recently to talk about the plans he has for visits.

Woodberry Forest School athlete Aramide Olaniyan is verbally committed to Duke, but it looks like the 6-foot-1.5, 195-pound outside linebacker wants to see what else is out there as well as he will be visiting Notre Dame and UCLA in the coming months.

"I'm going to camp at Notre Dame on June 30th and hope to earn a scholarship from the Irish," Olaniyan said. "There is a lot I like about their program and they offer a great education, so it would be great to have an offer from there."

"I will also travel to UCLA around the first week of August for a visit."

Blue Devil fans should certainly pay attention to the situation, but certainly shouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

"Duke is still definitely my leader by far and I am committed to them," Olaniyan explained. "I just want to see what else is out there. Both my mom and dad want me to go to Duke and right now that's definitely where I'm at."

Education is paramount for Olaniyan, so expect him to continue to at least take looks at universities that have a good academic reputation
