No. 17 In The Truck For Cutcliffe

The Blue Devils appear to have added a crucial piece to the recruiting board in the class of 2010 with the verbal commitment of Georgia defensive lineman Jamal Bruce.

Sources confirmed that Duke head coach David Cutcliffe picked up his 17th verbal commitment on Tuesday afternoon in the form of Hogansville (Ga.) Callaway High standout Jamal Bruce.

Bruce, who measures out at 6-foot-2 and 265 pounds, projects as a defensive tackle down the road for Duke. Over the last few seasons Bruce has moved around quite a bit for Callaway - playing tight end, defensive end, and some defensive tackle.

Bruce is rated as a two star prospect and the nation's No. 98 defensive tackle according to He reported offers from Troy, Air Force, and UT-Chattenooga.
