Blue Devils Add Two More Linemen

Sources confirmed to TDD that the Duke coaching staff landed a pair of commitments this weekend.

After seeing a committed player change his mind last week, the Duke coaching staff quickly addressed the issue over the weekend by landing a pair of prospects who figure to factor into the defensive line over the next few years.

Steven Ingram of Southaven (Miss.) High and Will Bryant of College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy were both offered scholarships on Saturday and both responded with verbal commitments.

Bryant, a high school teammate of Duke bound running back Juwan Thompson, is a 6'3, 300 pound player with experience at both offensive guard and defensive tackle.

Similarly Ingram is a 6'3, 310 pound defensive tackle who averaged just under six stops per game for Southaven High as a senior.

The commitment of Ingram and Bryant bring the Duke total to 20 for the class of 2010. Three of those players have already enrolled for Spring classes.

Neither Bryant nor Ingram have been evaluated by the staff at this point.
