Blue Devils Offer Big Defensive End

Rob Burns is just starting to pick up offers in recruiting, but with his huge frame and athleticism Scout.com is pretty confident he'll be a player that may take off in recruiting once he starts hitting camps. He just picked up his second offer and more are coming.

Stone Bridge High School product Rob Burns measures in at an impressive 6-foot-7, 230 pounds and for any 3-4 team looking for a defensive end, he has to be a target. He could also play left defensive end for a 4-3 team making him non-scheme specific which will really help him.

"I picked up an offer from Duke today," Burns stated. "I think it's huge for me because I have two offers now and I already have some options to start looking at. It's just really exciting because there are so many good things about both Duke and Virginia that I'm learning right now."

"I know Duke is a great school and I've heard their campus is really nice too," Burns added. "They're also a school that has other great sports like basketball and lacrosse (Burns plays lacrosse) and I think they're probably one of the best all around schools you could find."

Burns plans to take a visit to Duke on February 13th and his mother and father will accompany him.
