Oklahoma LB Gets A Duke Offer

ACC schools do not typically come in to the Sooner State to offer prospects to often, but Guthrie's Kentrell Brothers offers a nice package of football talent and grades in the classroom.

Kentrell Brothers, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker from Guthrie High in Okla., was happy to inform that he has picked up his second official offer.

"Duke offered," Brothers exclaimed!

The Blue Devils join Missouri as the first two schools to offer the talented athlete a scholarship.

Schools like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Tulsa, and Iowa have also been showing interest.

2009 Stats: Brothers had an amazing junior season on both sides of the ball. On offense he pulled down 64 receptions for 1,122 yards and 12 touchdowns. On defense he racked up 94 tackles , 17 sacks, and four interceptions to earn All-State honors.
