Jersey OLB Gets A Duke Offer

Sometimes in recruiting it just takes that one offer or that one performance to get a river of other offers flowing in and that looks to be the case for Erial, N.J., product Quinton Alston who has now picked up three FBS-level offers in under 24 hours.

Scout.com just spoke with Timber Creek High School Head Coach Rob Hinson and he informed us that his star middle linebacker Quinton Alston received yet another written offer today from Duke, the third offer he's received since yesterday afternoon.

Whether or not these offers have had anything to do with his brilliant performance at the Badger Sports Elite 7-on-7 powered by New Level Athletics is unknown, but the timing is at the very least a big coincidence considering Iowa, Duke and Pittsburgh have offered since the event after Old Dominion offered in September.

As a junior, Alston registered 80 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks and defended two passes. He was named first-team All-Conference and first-team All-Group III.
