Carrick Felix: "I'm A Blue Devil"

Duke lands a fourth player in the class of 2010 with the addition of Southern Idaho's Carrick Felix.

After missing out on Harrison Barnes, the Blue Devils began looking for a replacement on the wing. Several months ago they found just what they were looking for at the College of Southern Idaho.

Multiple sources confirmed to Scout.com that Carrick Felix is a Duke Blue Devil after arriving in Durham Sunday night for an official visit.

Felix himself confirmed the news on his own social networking site with the entry: "Yes, I'm a Blue Devil".

The 6-foot-6, 195 pound wing was able to arrive in the Triangle area just in time to make the trip over to Duke to watch the NCAA selection show. After that he spent time with the players and then met with the admissions department on Monday.

An official announcement is expected from CSI's athletic department shortly.

Felix averaged 16.9 points and 4.9 rebounds for CSI as a redshirt freshman. He will have three seasons of eligibility remaining upon his arrival in Durham.

"He's a slasher, that's what he's best at," said CSI head coach Steve Gosar. "He shoots it better than his percentages show."

WIth the commitment, the Blue Devils now sit at four players ready to join the program this summer with Felix, Kyrie Irving, Tyler Thornton, and Josh Hairston.
