Carrick Felix, a small forward out of the College of Southern Idaho, pledge allegiance to the program. Felix is a noted athlete who will have three seasons of eligibility remaining for the Blue Devils.
"He's an extreme athlete, a real high flier," CSI coach Steve Gosar said. "He's got great conditioning and runs the court really well.
"He's a great kid, he plays hard. He's 6-feet-6, 195 pounds and a great kid. He's all about winning. He's got a big upside with three years to play. He'll be all about the program. He's got an unbelievable mom who has raised him to be a really good person."
Gosar felt like Felix needed to boost his perimeter game and continue working on his ball handling. "He's got three years to do that and he'll make the commitment. He's at a great place where that can happen."
Arizona State, South Florida, Kent State and Idaho expressed interest in Felix who is a native of Arizona.
Duke accepted a commitment from junior Michael Gbinije last week.
