Duke Among First Offers For MD

Scout.com talked with 2011 prospect Kendall Patterson from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, MD. The talented defensive tackle has finally received his first offers and has several other plans set now.

Kendall Patterson has been working hard on the field and off and finally has received what he has been working so hard to achieve. Patterson has seen his recruiting gain much momentum recently and he now holds two offers and is gaining interest from several other schools.

"I finally got my first offer from Marshall," said Patterson. "I also received an offer from Duke as well. I feel really good getting my first offers. It just makes me want to work harder. I also feel that Illinois, Wake Forest and Rutgers are close to offering me as well. I will be talking to Wake Forest very soon. I visited there back in February and fell in love with the school."

Patterson has also set his schedule for some spring games he wants to attend.

"I will definitely go to Pittsburgh and Clemson. I am not sure on any others right now. I will still visit other schools but I am not sure if it will be for the spring games or after."
