Another tender has been extended verbally by the University of Georgia.
"I talked to Coach [Tony] Ball about a month ago and he likes him a lot and said an offer was coming and I talk to Coach [Stacy] Searels a lot and I think he would take Dai-jon right now if he knew he was set on playing football."
That is the question a lot of coaches across the South are wondering.
Parker, a 6-foot-3, 170 pound junior out of Alpharetta (GA) is also being courted to play basketball by major programs as well.
Now that schools know Parker is interested in football, interest is picking up.
"Dai-jon asked me to hold his football film until after basketball season was over because he did not want any distractions," said Coach Walker. "He helped Milton win the state championship last weekend and I started sending his film out to schools all over earlier this week. More offers are definitely going to start coming in for him soon. A lot of schools are interested."
So how interested in playing football on the next level is the two sport star?
"I just sat down with him and his mother on Wednesday and he is going to go through the process in both sports, see what his options are, and then make a decision."
Parker could play safety or wide receiver on the next level.
Scout evaluated him live when Milton played Alpharetta and he had a nice interception in that game and then when he played against Lassiter, he had 279 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
He already has options in both sports as you can see in his basketball profile HERE.
Keep an eye on this versatile junior out of the Peach State.
