The popular Blue Devil Team Walk will begin at the Duke Chapel at 11 a.m. In addition, the Coca-Cola Kids Zone will be open on the stadium concourse beginning at 11:30 a.m., while concessions stands featuring $1 hot dogs, Chick-fil-A and Domino's Pizza will be open. In addition, Duke Stores will have a tent set up on the concourse selling officially licensed Blue Devil merchandise.
Cutcliffe will address the crowd at halftime of the game, which will feature four 12-minute quarters.
"I like where this team is right now," Cutcliffe said. "There are some big questions to answer. I like the personality of the team, but the fact is that we're young. Facts are that we've been consistently inconsistent. It doesn't surprise me. But we've also really shown flashes of excellence in a lot of areas, and we have a lot more athletes on the field – that's evident to anybody that's watched us play this spring."
The game will be broadcast live on GoDuke.com with veteran announcer Dave Nathan providing the call of the action.
The Blue Devils tuned up for the Spring Game with a 45-snap situational scrimmage on Wednesday morning. Quarterbacks Brandon Connette and Sean Schroeder combined to complete eight-of-17 passes for 150 yards while running backs Jay Hollingsworth and Desmond Scott each scored touchdowns during the goalline segment of the session.
