Duke Among 3 Offers For Tenn TE

Cameron Clear, tight end from Memphis-Central, Tenn., is a huge target with his 6-foot-7, 264-pound frame. He has three scholarship offers and hearing from schools across the country. He talked about the interest and one early visit.

"Everything is going all right for now," said Cameron Clear. "I have offers from Alabama, Memphis and Duke. That's all for now. I am receiving interest from UCLA, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Georgia and Illinois.

"I don't have any favorites right now. I am wide open. I have only been on one visit. I went to Alabama's Junior Day. I will probably go to Duke at the end of the month. I plan to visit UCLA at the end of May."

Clear talked more about the visit to Tuscaloosa.

"The visit to Alabama was great," he said. "That's when I was offered by them. Coach Saban called me in his office. He offered me. It was a good offer and was excited about it. I like the coaches there. I also like how the players work."

Clear talked about more of his interest in the Blue Devils.

"They are really high on me right now," Clear said. "I like them and ready to find out more when I go up there. They are recruiting me really hard right now. I would say them and Alabama are recruiting me the hardest."

Clear knows his strengths and areas to improve during the off-season.

"I am 6-foot-7, 264-pounds," he said. "I am being recruited as tight end. I am able to get the ball at it's highest point. I feel like I am a pretty good blocker. I want to work on my speed and strength."
