"Tennessee offered me last week. Ole Miss offered me yesterday. Mississippi State came today and they told my coach that they are going to have me talk with their head coach next week about them offering me. They are trying to work something out."
With the two newest options from the SEC, Cameron has a lot of thinking to do.
"I have five total offers right now," said Clear. "Alabama, Memphis, Duke, Ole Miss and Tennessee have offered me and some more are talking about it."
The value of a quality education is not lost on Cameron. He is keeping his eye on life after his playing days are done.
"I want to go somewhere that will help me after football in case I don't make it to the next level," said Clear. "I want to go to a school that will help me a get a good job."
Cameron has the versatility to play any number of positions, but most schools are locked in on the offensive side of the ball.
"Most schools are talking about a tight end, but Duke is talking about me playing both sides of the ball," said Clear. "I really want to play tight end. I have been playing tight end about three years. I like catching the ball. That's probably what I do best."
Fans expecting an early decision will likely be disappointed.
"I think I am going to wait until the end of the season before I do anything," said Clear. "I want to see how everybody does this season and see how they use the tight end in their offense. I want to see how everybody's offensive schemes are."
