Four Star OL Visited Duke

The top offensive lineman in California, Chico (Calif.) Pleasant Valley guard Jordan Rigsbee, is keeping all of his options open and in no rush to make a decision...

Chico (Calif.) Pleasant Valley offensive guard Jordan Rigsbee, (6-5, 285), is the top offensive lineman in California in the class of 2011, and nine schools have offered him.

And Rigsbee could see even more offers added to that mix.

"I have nine altogether, from Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Arizona, Duke, Boise State and San Diego State and then I'm hearing from UCLA and USC could be really close. I'm liking a lot of the Pac-10 really, and I'm going to Boise State on Thursday."

Rigsbee's older brother, Tyler, is a sophomore at Cal and was also a four-star lineman in the class of 2008, so the Bears have a natural place in his top schools list.

"Cal is definitely one of my top choices and I like them a lot," said Rigsbee. "I'd say that Cal and Boise State are my top two schools."

Rigsbee has visited Duke and Oregon unofficially already this spring, as well as Cal on numerous occasions, and leaves for Boise this week.

"That's the only other school I have plans to go to right now to visit," said Rigsbee.

Rigsbee said UCLA and USC could be close to offering him, which would further add to his options. While his brother committed early in his junior year, Rigsbee wants to take a little more time.

"I think I'm going to commit before my senior football season starts and make my decision," said Rigsbee. "By then, I'll probably know where I want to head."

After Cal and Boise State, Rigsbee said that Oregon, Arizona and Washington round out his top five, but new offers could cause him to reevaluate his top schools list.

A tackle for Pleasant Valley, Rigsbee said that most schools like him inside, save Cal.

"Most schools want me as a guard but Cal is recruiting me as a tackle," said Rigsbee.

For camps, Rigsbee will be at the Stanford Nike Camp next weekend then camps at Cal and Boise State this summer.

An all-state underclass pick in 2009, Rigsbee is fully qualified.
