Jersey Wideout Gets An Offer

Oradell, N.J., product Cameron Dickerson picked up his fifth offer on Wednesday from the Duke Blue Devils and talked to Scout.com about how excited he is to have another offer from a school that not only plays solid football, but has outstanding academics.

Cameron Dickerson, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound athlete from Bergen Catholic High School had already visited Duke, so when he picked up his offer on Wednesday there was no hesitation when we asked him how much the offer meant to him. Dickerson immediately admitted that the Blue Devils will be there when he decides and gave the following quotes about the program.

"This afternoon I was offered by Duke," Dickerson said. "I spoke on the phone with Coach Cutcliffe and Coach Knowles after Coach Knowles sent me an email and they let me know that I had an offer and it was already in the mail."

"Me and my dad went down there in January and really liked it a lot," Dickerson added. "They're definitely going to be in the thick of things when it comes to making my decision. First of all, they have great academics and that's our main focus. I also want to play high level football and they play in the ACC which is a great conference. I love the area that the campus is in is really nice and I loved the campus and facilities at Duke. I am really excited to get this offer and like I said, they'll definitely be in the mix when I decide."

Dickerson was offered as a wide receiver by the Blue Devils.
