"I went to the Duke camp, I did good at that camp. I went to Wake Forest's camp and North Carolina's camp as well as South Carolina camp. They all went real good. My slowest 40 time I ran was a 4.47 at the fourth camp and I was tired from the other camps."
Burton, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, explains why he chose the Blue Devils.
"The first thing, I went up there and liked the campus first of all. Then the education, I know what Duke can do for me. I love Coach Cutcliffe, with him being the head coach and me having a good relationship with my recruiting coordinator, that is real good, which is my position coach, we gel real good. It was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. It is BCS football in the ACC. We are Duke. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if in the next few years we have it. Right now I am a solid commit."
Burton said he's not sure about taking any other visits but he plans on going to Duke soon.
"As far as my visits go, I don't know what I am doing. I am planning my Duke visit sometime with the next month."
The standout corner, who claims a 3.3 GPA and a 940 SAT score, talked about his goals for this season after starting 1-0 with a win over Taravella.
