Similar to the two matches played last night, DU came out on fire in the first set. The Dukes scored nine of the first 10 points and never let the Mountain Hawks back into the set, winning 25-13.
In the second set, a kill by Amanda Humphrey broke an early tie at 3-3 to give DU a lead they would not rescind. The set was highlighted by the Dukes scoring six straight points behind the serving of Katie Goss as Duquesne won 25-17.
Lehigh put up a fight in the third set as they were within two points of tying seven different times. The Dukes held off the Mountain Hawks rally and took the game 25-22 and the match 3-0.
The Red and Blue's final match of the Duquesne/Robert Morris Invitational will be at 7:00 p.m. tonight when the Dukes host Loyola (MD).
