Dukes Move Up 3 in NSCAA Poll

Duquesne's men's soccer team moved up three spots to fourth place in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic Region poll. The undefeated Dukes (3-0-3) picked up a pair of wins this weekend on the way to the Duquesne Invitational Championship.

Sophomore Ben Horner led the Dukes with two goals and two assists. The MVP of this past weekend's Duquesne men's soccer tournament, Horner is a member of the College Soccer News National Team of the Week and is the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week.

The Dukes travel to Niagara (3-1-1) for a 7:00 p.m. game on Friday, September 19, 2008. The Purple Eagles are third in the NSCAA North Atlantic region.

Saint Louis is the only Atlantic 10 Conference team in the NSCAA Top 25 national rankings. The Billikens are 13th, up from no. 17 last week.
