Duquesne Falls to Wright State 3-0

DAYTON - Wright State's Amber Kasmer had a pair of goals and Morgan Butler added another as the Duquesne women's soccer team fell to the Raiders 3-0 Sunday afternoon. The Dukes finish their 2008 non-conference schedule 2-2-2.

WSU got on the board in the 13th minute as a Kasmer breakaway from nine yards out beat DU keeper Brittany Findley. Kasmer would net her second goal of the contest in the 38th minute, giving Wright State a 2-0 lead. Butler found the back of the net in the 69th minute to close out the scoring as the Raiders secured a 3-0 victory.

Findley made three saves and Laura Tlumack had a team-high four shots (two on goal).

Duquesne's Atlantic 10 Conference schedule begin Friday night when the Dukes travel to Saint Louis. Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. DU returns home Sept. 28 to host Rhode Island at 1:00 p.m.
