Dukes Now 7th in NSCAA Poll

Duquesne's men's soccer team dropped three spots to seventh place in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic Region poll following DU's first loss of the season to also regionally-ranked Niagara.

Duquesne's sole game was on Friday when Niagara grabbed a 1-0 victory in New York. The Purple Eagles had the support of a Niagara Field-record 658 fans. NU (5-1-1) rose to second place, from third, in the NSCAA North Atlantic poll.

The next game for the 3-1-1 Dukes is on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, when the Red and Blue host cross-town rival Robert Morris (1-3-1) in a 7:30 p.m. match on Rooney Field.
