Dukes Drop to 8th in NSCAA Poll

Duquesne's men's soccer team dropped one slot to eighth place in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Middle Atlantic Region poll. The Dukes split this weekend's matches.

Duquesne (4-2-3) grabbed a 1-0 overtime victory from cross-town rival Robert Morris but then, on Sunday, lost a defensive battle at Buffalo (9-2-1) as the Bulls extended their winning streak to six games. Buffalo moved into the NSCAA Great Lakes Region poll this week in ninth place.

The Dukes will return to Buffalo, N.Y. for their final non-conference matchup against Canisius (2-6-1) on Friday, October 3, 2008, at 3:30 p.m.
