Aaron Jackson Questionable for Dayton Game

Duquesne's men's basketball team may be without its team leader and leading scorer Saturday night when the Dukes take on Dayton.

Senior guard Aaron Jackson was injured while driving to the basket in the second half of Wednesday night's 88-83 win over George Washington. He was fouled and hit the floor hard. Later, Jackson was forced to call a timeout in the final minute after he couldn't complete a move in the offensive end.

Previously reported here as a "bruised right hip," the injury is a "bruised tailbone" as originally stated during the radio broadcast.

The decision on Jackson's playing is likely to be deferred until late Saturday. If he misses the game, it will be the first time the Connecticut native has been sidelined during his career. Jackson has appeared in 102 straight contests.
