Pacers Perfect at Orlando Pro Summer League

The Indiana Pacers 'won' the Orlando Pro Summer League with a perfect 5-0 record by easily taking the host Magic, 68-54, in the week's final contest on Friday. Duquesne's Aaron Jackson, in just under 20 minutes, had two points, two rebounds, three assists and his first steal of the week against three turnovers.

The Indiana Pacers opened the game with an 11-0 run and led 43-29 at the half. The Magic pretty matched the Pacers in the second half, each scoring 25 points.

The Pacers are the second undefeated team in the Orlando Pro Summer League's seven years.

Roy Hibbert (Georgetown) had a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. Aaron Jackson, who shot 1-5 from the floor in the finale, finished the week averaging 3.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists. He had a 1.40 assist / turnover ratio and failed to hit from three-point range in four tries.

Jackson played behind UConn's A.J. Price, the Pacers unsigned second round draft pick, and veteran Will Blalock (Iowa State), who is attempting to return to the NBA after two years playing overseas and in the D-League. The roster includes starter T.J. Ford (Texas) and Jarrett Jack (Georgia Tech).

AJAX's chances to stick with Indiana were low. He did get another opportunity to show his wares to the NBA scouts. We'll be watching.
