Junior Ben Horner (Butler, Pa.), who had a game-high four shots, assisted on the score. Sophomore Colin Thorp (Gaithersburg, Md.), seeing his first action of the season, had two saves in his first career win.
Duquesne outshot the Jaspers, 14-6, 8-2 on those headed to the net. Manhattan goalie Joseph Lorenz recorded six saves. The Metro Athletic Atlantic Conference team is now 1-2.
