Jaclyn Babe, Diana Voynova and Eve Pyle added 12 points each for DU. Rachel Frederick scored nine points and added seven rebounds. Off the bench, Kelly Britcher scored eight points and Vanessa Abel and Jocelyn Floyd dished out four assists each.
Tori Hansen scored a game-high 25 points - 21 in the second half - for the Hilltoppers and Laura Malernee added 23.
Babe scored eight of her points in Duquesne's 20-1 run to open the game. The Dukes held WLU without a field goal until Malernee hit a 3-pointer at the 12:11 mark of the first half.
The Dukes went into halftime leading 54-14 while making 20-of 39 field goals and out rebounding West Liberty 28-15.
West Liberty turned things around in the second half, converting 53 percent of their shots, including six 3-pointers. Although WLU scored 47 points in the half, Duquesne had an answer every time for the Hilltoppers.
The Dukes finished the game shooting 38-for-72 (53 percent) and were 9-for-15 (60 percent) from beyond-the-arc. DU dished out 29 assists, led by Babe's nine and only had 9 turnovers while forcing 21 WLU turnovers.
Duquesne's regular season beings one week from tonight at Cornell. The home opener is Wed. Nov. 18 when the Dukes host Mount St. Mary's. Tipoff for both games at 7:00 P.M.
