Wahoo!

Keeon Johnson made his decision on Friday afternoon. The A.L Brown High (Kannapolis, N.C.) wide reciever will play college football for Virginia.

Keeon Johnson 6'3/200) will play college football in the ACC. Around 5:30 on Friday afternoon, Johnson commited to coach Mike London and the Virginia Cavaliers. He choose the Cavaliers over Notre Dame.

"I am committing to UVA," Johnson confirmed in a text message to Scout.

He is physically ready to play at the collegiate level right now. He has very good size and strength for a wide receiver. Johnson also possesses 4.3-second 40-yard dash speed. I expect him to see the field early in Charlottesville.

Virginia continues to gain momentum in The Tar Heel State. Less than three weeks ago, the Cavaliers picked up a commitment from South Iredell High (Statesville,N.C.) linebacker LaChaston Smith. They remain in contention for several more of the state's top prospects.

Johnson is a three-star prospect for Scout and the No. 62 wide receiver prospect in the country. He also had offers from Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Miami, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest.
