ECU wide receiver Justin Hardy became the FBS’s all-time leader in receptions in the first half against Tulane Saturday. Hardy, who started his career as a walk-on at ECU, set the record on an eight-yard curl route.
Hardy broke the previous mark of 349 career catches set by former Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles in 2011 and added five other catches in the half to extend his total to 355. With his name cemented into the record books Hardy can build on the record in the second half.
