AAC Announces 2016 Basketball Opponents

The American Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday the East Carolina men's basketball team's home and away opponents for the 2015-16 conference season.

The Pirates' second season in The American features an exciting docket of home games, including four teams that participated in postseason play this past year: Cincinnati, SMU, Temple and Tulsa. The Pirates will play a home-and-home series against the aforementioned foursome as well as UCF, Memphis, USF and Tulane.

East Carolina will host Houston in its lone meeting of the year with the the Cougars, while it will travel to UConn for its only game of the season against the Huskies.

The 2016 championship will be played March 10-13, 2016 (Thursday to Sunday) at Amway Center in Orlando, as previously announced.
