Offensive lineman dismissed from team
East Carolina sophomore offensive lineman Larry Williams has been dismissed from the Pirate football program following team rule violations according to an announcement from head football coach Ruffin McNeill on Tuesday. "It is always disappointing when someone is dismissed from the program, but there comes a time when an individual's actions force the loss of a privilege, which in this case is being a part of our team," McNeill said. "We all have the responsibility of being accountable." Williams, a Wilmington (N.C.) Laney High School product, played in all 13 games as primarily a special teams contributor during his redshirt freshman campaign in 2014.
