McCloud Enjoy's ECU Visit
After a visit at East Carolina this past weekend senior Nick McCloud from South Pointe High School (Rockhill, SC) said that he would like to cut his list down at some point but he is not sure when that will be. McCloud currently holds 15 official offers and that the school’s he has been in contact with recently include Appalachian State, ECU, Georgia, North Carolina, North Western and Vanderbilt. “It’s not hectic but it’s not dead either because I’ve been to a different game every week at different schools,” McCloud said about his recruiting process. The 6-foot-1, 173-pound defensive back said that his current interest in ECU is a ten-out-of-ten and went on to say, “I love ECU.” “I liked it (visiting), they showed me a lot of love. I got to talk to the head coach and he was talking about the family environment and that’s what I like about East Carolina a lot and they have a real good football team.” McCloud said that he also has good relationships with ECU’s recruiting coordinator Donnie Kirkpatrick and that he plans to take another visit Greenville this season. While watching the game against Virginia Tech, McCloud noted that he liked the defensive scheme that ECU useD and believes that his skill set would fit perfectly in it.
