BEST WIN

Sticking with the American trend this season, Houston dominated SEC member Vanderbilt in route to a 34-0 thrashing Saturday. The win is yet another in the AAC’s long line of Power Five opponent defeats while undefeated Houston continues to rise in the rankings. The Cougars and Memphis Tigers are both without a loss this season and will meet on November 14. Their rise has put the AAC on the map and the matchup should be the most anticipated of the season.

BEST PLAYER PEFROMANCE

Cincinnati quarterback Gunner Kiel is finally healthy and was firing on all cylinders Saturday against a win-less, down trodden UCF team. His 15-of-15, 319 passing yard performance stands as the most attempts without an incompletion in the last 20 years. Cincinnati put up 52 points on the surprisingly hapless Knights and Kiel looked like the all-conference quarterback that many expected him to be.
