BEST WIN

USF perhaps surprised everyone when it beat down AAC East-leading Temple by 21 points. The Owls, who sat comfortable atop the standings, now hold just a one-game lead with games against Memphis and Connecticut looming. The win squarely positioned the Bulls in a situation where if it wins out against Cincinnati and UCF, combined with a loss by the Owls, they could be looking at a spot in the conference championship game. The East division went from a runaway to a nail bitter thanks to USF’s thorough beat down of the favored Owls.

Keenan Reynolds hit a historic landmark in his team’s throttling of SMU. The senior quarterback became the NCAA All-Time Rushing Touchdowns leader during his five-touchdown performance Saturday. Four of the scores came on the ground and his 137 rushing yards were the most of the game. He also completed a 72-yard pass and a touchdown in the contest. Reynolds deserves the nod for his impressive performance and his historic record.
