ECU extends offer to Miami WR Al-Malik Moore

In an effort to increase their offensive prowess, ECU extended an offer to Miami WR Al-Malik Moore

East Carolina offered Miami (Fla.) Northwestern wide receiver Al-Malik Moore last week.

Though he has yet to visit, Moore is excited about the fact that ECU has the ability to produce top wide receivers, such as those of Justin Hardy and Isaiah Jones.

"The most appealing part about ECU is the fact hey produce wide receivers," said Moore.

When he takes his visit, Moore wants to accomplish a couple goals -- take a look at the campus and facilities.

"On my visit, I'm looking forward to touring the campus and getting to know the coaching staff," said Moore.

Moore also acknowledged that there's some room for improvement, in regards to the program, and he would like to be part of the solution.

"I like the program," said Moore. "But, I feel like there's always room for improvement, and I could help the team improve."

Moore has stayed in contact with assistant coach Donovan Varner.

"I've been keeping in touch with coach Varner," said Moore. "We've really talked about what him and staff likes about me and stuff like that. Every now and then, I send him seven-on-seven film to show him that I'm working."
