On Saturday, August 20th, the ECU Pirates will be practicing in Charlotte, NC

Tomorrow, the East Carolina Pirates will head to Charlotte, NC to hold their final practice of camp at Rocky River High School. The practice will be open to the public.

Tomorrow morning, the East Carolina Pirates will hit the road and travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to hold their last practice of camp.

The full-pad practice will be completely open to the public and will be held at Rocky River High School. It will start at 2:45 p.m. and finish up around 5:15 p.m.

Team posters, schedules, and ticket information will be available for fans in attendance. Players and coaches will also be available to sign autographs for fans at the end of practice.

First-year head coach Scottie Montgomery seems very excited about the trip and seems to believe that it will be very beneficial to his team.

"A key component of training camp is to develop team unity and an identity for the upcoming season," said  Montgomery. "Not only will this trip serve as a bonding experience and rehearsal for road game preparation, it will be in a city we have a tremendous appreciation and value for.”

ECU will start the day off tomorrow with meetings before departing for Charlotte at 8:45 a.m.

Upon arrival at RRHS at 1:30 p.m., the Pirates will follow a pre-game routine of taping, dressing, and treatment prior to the 2:45 flex period and then they will get the practice rolling.

After dinner and individual meetings, the Pirates will spend the rest of the night in Charlotte before heading back to campus Sunday at noon.

With classes starting Monday, the Pirates will start normal in-season practice on Tuesday.
