After opening the season 2-0, East Carolina looks forward to their next challenge; going on the road to Columbia, South Carolina where the Pirates will face the Gamecocks.
It is no secret that this could be the toughest game the Pirates will play all year, and Coach Mo is conjuring up the best game plan he can to combat a skilled SEC opponent.
Coach Mo talked about ECU's game plan for Gamecock's offense.
"We're going to try to move the pocket," said Montgomery. "We're going to try and get them sideline to sideline."
However, Coach Mo did not want to "let everything out of the bag."
ECU also saw some players go down last weekend on the defensive end of the ball. Coach Mo spoke on the health of the Pirates.
"We're really good from a stand point of health," said Coach Mo. "We have a few dings that we can hopefully work through the next few days."
ECU will face South Carolina Saturday September 17 at 4:00 p.m.
