Coach Montgomery addressed members of the media following Tuesday's practice

Greenville N.C. -- Head coach Scottie Montgomery spoke with the media following tonight's practice and InsideECUSports was there to catch the action

On a brisk evening in Greenville, a visually worn out Scottie Montgomery talked about Philip Nelson and the quarterback situation, as well as the mindset of the team going forward.

He had this to say about the quarterback situation.

"Right now, if Phil doesn't get back to work, we'll go with Gardner," said Montgomery.

Montgomery is also trying to get his guys to stay focused for the last two games.

"We have two games left," said Montgomery. "We have senior day coming and a formidable opponent coming up, so that's how we stay focused."

Though Montgomery didn't necessarily say if Jimmy Williams would be back next year, he did have this to say.

"I feel very confident in Jimmy Williams playing more football," said Montgomery.

Also, it is important to note that Philip Nelson did not practice today.
