North Carolina Wing is interested in theStags

The Fairfield Stags have received a lot of interest from players in the South over the last year. Here is a player from North Carolina who lists the Stags.

Carter Cook is a 6-4 wing out of Calvary Baptist high school in North Carolina. Scout.com reports that 4 schools are currently at the top of his list: Fairfield, Old Dominion, Winthrop and Western Carolina.

According to his coach Brant Short, Cook is leaving a spot open for a couple of schools who are interested but want to see him play more.

The scout.com database says that Cook's strengths are his basketball IQ, instincts and perimeter shot. He needs to improve on his ballhandling, speed and quickness

Cook is an excellent student and strong scorer on the high school team.
