FGCU Eagles Nest Joins Scout Network

The FGCU Eagles Nest will be continuing its role as a leading source of FGCU basketball news but now as a member of the Scout network!

You've probably noticed the site is looking a little, well - a lot, different. And that's because we have made the jump to the Scout Network. Everyone here at the FGCU Eagles Nest is very excited about the move. So let's outline what the move means to you, the readers.

Our staff of great writers will continue to provide the same, phenomenal content; none of that will change. But Scout will help the site gain a little more exposure as well as connect us with an immense network of NCAA sites. The FGCU Eagles Nest is glad to be joining as the network's first site out of the Atlantic Sun conference.

The new site has a very crisp and clean layout with better mobile compatibility. Nifty roster and commit lists allow readers to easily find information and stories on certain teams or players.

I am continuing to modify the menu and side rail to make the site even more comprehensive so bear with us as we make the transition. We'll also slowly be adding old stories so don't worry if you don't see one of the more dated articles immediately.

Another exciting part of this change to the Scout network are forums. The FGCU Eagles Nest and Scout have launched a forum on this site, dedicated to and fueled by Florida Gulf Coast faithful. Eagles fans will now have a place to interact with other fans and discuss Dunk City basketball. Eagles Talk will be our free forum to talk FGCU athletics with other fans. On the other hand, our premium forum, nicknamed The Nest, will only be available to FGCU Eagles Nest subscribers.

Speaking of subscriptions, the FGCU Eagles Nest will now have premium content - don't worry, only a small portion of monthly articles will be premium - available only to subscribers. Subscriptions are $4.95 per month, $24.95 for six months, and $44.95 for a full year. Sign up and receive a 7-day free trial. Click here to sign up! These subscriptions not only give you access to premium content on our site, but also come with extra benefits. You receive 10% off on all tickets purchased on tickets.scout.com and all items purchased on shop.scout.com.

If you have any questions about the new site or subscriptions, feel free to contact me (Liam Jones) at fgcueaglesnest@gmail.com. The site still needs a few changes, but once everything settles in, I'm sure everyone will be on board with what this network has to offer.
