NoleDigest went through the panhandle in late March and Stuckey was one of the players that we had the opportunity to meet. The 6'3, 295 pounder is now widely considered one of the top prospects for the 2012 in the Southeast.
When asked how he was doing this year, "Real, real good. Last night we came up a little short vs. Navarre, I got to go up against Sterling Lovelady a couple of times, he is a great player and we talked after the game." Stuckey also has a team mate, Deon Lee, that is a senior and sports multiple BCS offers, "Deon loves FSU too, FSU has not offered yet, but maybe it will happen before signing day."
Stuckey camped for one day at FSU this summer and has been recruited by Coach Rick Trickett. "I love everything about FSU, that is where my heart is, and it is where I am most comfortable. I plan on being at FSU as much as possible over the next couple of years."
Word from the panhandle is that he has been sensational as a junior thus far, "Oh yeah, I have had some good games, but I am going to get better, I have a lot of things to improve on."
NoleDigest will be at Walton sometime in the next two weeks to do a full photo shoot and interview of the big-time junior.
