Apopka has been one of the state's most successful program's over the last 15 years, thus far they are 2-1 on the young season,

"We have been doing alright so far. We started off strong with a win over our rival, Lake Brantley. We started off pretty good, but last week we lost a close one to Edgewater 14-13. We came back this week and had a strong performance. I got back on track. I am trying to get better every game. Last week I was playing center, but then switched the line up and I moved to tackle. I have been getting used to it, I have been getting better every week."

Darlington is listening to all schools and has not not cut anyone yet.

"I am not sure yet. I am cutting it down later this year. I am not really thinking about where I want to go. I definitely like Oklahoma, I like Auburn, and I like Florida State, there are a lot of schools I got to see, but I am not gonna cut anything down yet," he said.

Florida State is one of the schools Darlington likes,

"I like their offensive line; I have watched them on TV and stuff. They are a bunch of tough guys, hardnosed, a little bit undersized, because I am not the tallest guy, they have a lot of guys a little smaller and I like the way they do things," he said.

He continued about Florida State's offensive line coach, Coach Trickett.

"Florida State, I like their offensive line coach, Coach Trickett. I like the way he does things. I find him entertaining, I like him."

Darlington has been watching the Seminoles and gave his thoughts on their season.

"I watched them today against Wake Forrest. I thought they have done pretty good so far. They obviously had a tough time at Oklahoma but it seems like they rebounded. I think they will make a run in the ACC."

With offers from 12 schools, Darlington picked up two more, one from Clemson and one from Rutgers. Growing up, Oklahoma was number one for Darlington.

"Oklahoma was my favorite team growing up. My mom graduated from Oklahoma, my mom was a cheerleader there."
