Game Notes: North Carolina at Florida State

White extends consecutive sack streak

Senior DE Markus White's sack against North Carolina in the third quarter gives him 5.5 for the season. White has now recorded at least a half sack in five straight games.

Alexander gets first sack

Linebacker Mister Alexandr's sack in the fourth quarter was his first of the season. Alexander had five sacks a year ago.

Buster Posey to be honored

Seminole great Buster Posey, fresh off a World Series title with San Francisco Giants, will be honored during next week's game against Clemson. Posey played at FSU from 2006-2008 as an All-American catcher for the Seminoles.

Pryor scores sixth of the season

Lonnie Pryor tied his career high with his second rushing touchdown of the game on the one-yard plunge at the 4th quarter. Pryor last had two rushing touchdowns in a game last season against Maryland, and now has six TDs this year.

Seminoles score most on North Carolina

With the 35 points scored against the Tar Heels, Florida State has scored more points than any other team against UNC this season. The previous high total of points allowed by UNC was 33 vs. Miami. The Seminole's 35 points is their third highest point total in a game this season.

Greg Reid's big return

Greg Reid's kick return of 50 yards in the last minute of the fourth quarter was his second longest of the season, with his longest being a 55 yard return against Miami.
