Bradham and Smith were 1-2 in tackles for the year and the linebacker play was clearly better than in 2009. Smith started a ton of games in his career and played his best ball as a senior. Bradham has All-American potential and showed that at times in 2010. With another year in the system, he should meet those expectations as a senior.
Alexander is one of those guys who really has eye popping measurables. You walk onto the field and are immediately drawn to him. Terrific athlete. Alexander lost valuable time to injuries early in his career.
There was a nice infusion of youth with Jones, Williams, Luc, and Smith each getting playing time. Jones seemed to play more as the year progressed; next year the game should slow down for him and he will begin to assert himself as a defensive force.
Smith clearly loves to play the game and he is destined to become a crowd favorite. Versatile athlete that could be used in several packages.
Partly cloudy with a chance at sunshine. Smith will graduate leaving the MLB spot open. Luc and Williams are the two leading candidates heading into Spring ball.
Alexander was also a senior. Jones would figure to be the favorite to start there.
Bradham is a junior, but one that has been on the radar for the NFL draft. If he stays, there is a strong case that this unit will be better, perhaps much. Should he leave, FSU will need to build depth next year and will be very young.
This figures to be one of the most competitive positions on the team in Spring ball.
