Noles Win 10

Florida State finished the season on a high note with a 26-17 victory over South Carolina. FSU enters the off-season on a high note and with momentum heading into the crucial January recruiting period.

Christian Ponder started the game, but largely was ineffective. Redshirt sophomore E.J. Manuel entered the game and finished 11-15 for 84 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions.

Running back Chris Thompson had several quality runs on his way to a game-high 147 yards with a score.

The defense created five turnovers, but perhaps the biggest play of the game happened early when Greg Reid sent Marcus Lattimore to the bench for good on a play where he caused a fumble that Kendall Smith picked up and returned for a good chunk of yardage.

The win pushed FSU to 10 wins and made them 2-0 vs. the vaunted SEC on the year.

Most importantly, this team ends the season on a high note which included key wins over rivals Miami, UF, and Clemson.

It is clear that the future remains very bright.
