New Jersey QB Talks FSU

Devin Fuller is a dual threat quarterback out of Old Tappan, New Jersey. He was recently offered by Florida State and NoleDigest caught up with the signal caller to get his thoughts on the program and offseason plans.

"My recruitment with Florida State has been good. They just offered me last weekend, and I'm pretty excited about it. I have been in contact with most of the coaches there, and I'm beginning to get pretty comfortable with them all," Fuller revealed.

He has yet to take a trip to Tallahassee, but seems eager to check out the campus this spring. "I haven't been there but I plan to visit in the spring, I hear it has a great atmosphere up there," he said.

He is balancing taking visits with his rigorous offseason training.

"The biggest thing that I am trying to improve on is my consistency and strength overall. I'm getting a lot smarter as a quarterback and I think my time spent this offseason will prove that this fall," Fuller discussed.

Even with his focus being on training, deciding where he'll play for college is still in the back of his mind.

"I probably will want to decide on where to go on signing day, but if not I may by this summer. I'm just going to have to check everything out before I commit. Right now I don't have any favorite and I'm wide open," he stated.

Fuller's success last season plays a large part in his attention from several big time programs. Currently he holds offers from more than ten BCS schools. He's also been taking care of business in the classroom.

"My GPA is a 2.9 right now and I haven't taken the SAT yet. My stats last season were 1893 passing yards with 20 touchdowns and 2306 rushing yards with 32 touchdowns. I'm going into this next season much improved and it'll show out there on the field," Fuller finished.
